Amy Laskey

Amy Laskey has worked in municipal finance for over 30 years, most recently as a Managing Director at Fitch Ratings. At Fitch she was the lead credit analyst for a number of high-profile bond issuers including New York City and Washington DC; oversaw the work of the local government analyst team; represented Fitch at high-profile investor and issuer events; and ensured analytical consistency. During her tenure she served for several years on the board of the Municipal Analysts Group of NY, including a year as President. Prior to Fitch, she worked in capital financial planning at the New York City Office of Management and Budget and the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Amy holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Barnard College. Throughout her professional career she has continued to play the flute in orchestral and chamber music settings. Amy currently works in the Financial Advocacy program at the Community Service Society of New York, and is actively involved in many volunteer activities.
