Kelly Chumo-McAleer is a double bassist and multi-instrumentalist who has studied classical, contemporary, and jazz music for over 17 years. Both an instructor and mentor in her home of Queens and NYC, she is dedicated to educating and inspiring future artists in music and the performing arts. She is passionate about programming, development, and UX design.

She attended the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University and graduated as a University Honors Scholar and Founder’s Day Award Recipient with a Bachelor in Music. She has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall & Rose Theater at
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, LeFrak Concert Hall at Queens College, Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, Adelphi Performing Arts Center, Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Staller Center for the Arts, and more. She has recorded and produced events for the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
